scrap our stash #8: sketch and mist/paint

Today's is my day on Scrap Our Stash's challenge. And, for this one, we have a sketch to inspiring and you must use mist or paint. Here is the amazing sketch by Brenda Ragsdale you have to use:

Hoje é dia de desafio no blog Scrap Our Stash e para o desafio de hoje temos um sketch inspirador e você precisa usar seu stash mist ou tinta. Aqui está o sketch criado pela Brenda Ragsdale:

Working with sketch can be hard if it seems so different for your style. However, after this first awkwardness, you can place something different, so you at the same time, and beautiful. It's what I thing about my layout.  Until I have found out that I want to use this star on my background, I was thinking how I could translated it. After that it seems everything get together so easily, I change some little bits, like the vertical area behind the picture and the area for a second picture that I change for a butterfly, but I think I translated pretty well, and better, I made one of my favorite layout.

Trabalhar com sketch pode ser difícil a primeira vista, principalmente se o sketch parece diferente daquilo que estamos acostumados a fazer. Deixando este estranhamento inicial, eu sempre tento ver algo onde posso começar e que se assemelha ao sketch inicial, no meu caso aqui foi a área de estrelas que resolvi aplicar gesso como resist e pintar. Depois disso, o layout acabou aparecendo tranquilamente e melhor eu tornei-o numa coisa minha e melhor, num layout que eu adorei fazer e que já entrou na galeria dos meus favoritos.

For my background I use some stencil and gesso as a resist. After that I mist a bit and paint a horizontal area around the gesso. I place my picture more straight as the bellow and the other inclined I substitute for a butterfly chipboard paint with gesso and watercolor mint that I splatter on more places around my pictures.

Eu fiz algumas alterações ao sketch, como podem ver, a area vertical atrás da foto foi substituída pelas tiras horizontais onde coloquei o journaling. E as fotos foram colocadas juntas numa linha reta conforme a foto mais abaixo, depois usei a foto mais acima inclinada para colocar o meu enfeite em forma de borboleta em chipboard que eu pintei com gesso e aguarela em mint que usei para pintar outros lugares deste layout.
