Foi um pequeno break por conta das coisas do scrap que andava acontecer aqui no blog, isso mais o inverno que faça com o sol acabe logo. Mas vamos ao que interesse, no vídeo de hoje a dica é usar materiais encontrados em retrosaria/armarinho como fitas, rendas, botões, tecidos. Eu não sei vocês, mas eu adoro alfabeto, o problema dos alfabetos que as letras que mais usamos acabam por ser usadas e depois ficamos com um monte de letras que não tem utilidade. Hello, scrappers! Today I came with one more video with tip to save some money, but make some nice pages. I love alphabeth, but sometimes I use some letters and keep other than I cannot use. Hello scrappers! Today I show the last two layouts that I made with the kit I sepated. First, I begin to show how much I have left from my kit.
I have a little bit of papers and some embelishment left. With that in mind, I try to concentrate on what I want to use the embelishment I have. For example, I have two tags so, I now that I want to use that on this layout. The same I can say about the clouds and border punch I have, I try to figure out how can I use them and the same I can say about the chipboard banners. Here is my fourth layout:
I can say, it's one of my favorite layout I made with this kit. Here some nice detail of my page:
For my fifth layout I use the same thought. I see I have some hexagon stamp that I didn´t use and I try to begin with that. So, my tip, when you have a little material on hand, figure out how can you use them and be creative about it. On the layout, I have use the chipboard banners as triangle, since I have use them as banners and flag already. Here is my fifth layout totally inspiring on another from the Italian scrapper Loredana Bucaria:

Hello, scrappers! Last week I showed a video with some tips to create your own kit and save money. Today I continue the video (on Portuguese) with more two layouts ans some tips to choose some essential material. For seeing the first post, go here. First of all, I show what I have left after my first layout.
For my second layout, I use most of paper I have on my kit (My Mind's Eye, Studio Calico and Crate Paper) to do some layering border of my layout. I distressed a little bit. Since I have alarge picture, I try to put some nice embelishment close to it, and I use the star stamp, cardboard and punch to accomplish that.
Here some nice detail from my layout:
Before I show my third layout, let's talk a lit bit about how to save some money when you begin to buy some inks and mist. First of all, if you didn't try any, I try to buy first some basic colors, like white or black, or the essential colors to me. Mine is blue, pink, yellow and green, brights one. For being aware what color you most use, try to look at your project and see what color you use more often.
If you want to try a new technique, like embossing, first see you can borrow for a friend for trying if you really like. If you is like me, now scrap friend around, use the most of it before buying. I try embossing before with a hot air gun from my husband and use clear embossing everytime. After I begin to buy my colors and only, after I most sure that I like, I use to buy more embossing powder.
Other thing you have to be aware what you like before buy it, is stamps. I love stamps, but on the begining I bought some that I just hate it, because it is something I really don't like to use (like flowers). So, see what the things you like before you made an investment as that is important for saving some money.
Now I show my third layout. On that on I just want to use the miscellany from Ocotber Afternoon on a layout with some nice space touch.

Hello, scrappers! Today I show a video with a tip to create your own kit and save money. I usually use a embelishment with so many colors to create a kit. From there I choose my papers and other embelishment. For that one, I choose a Ocotber Afternoon's word stickers and, then, the papers, and then, the embelishment I think combine with the others. I choose as well some stamps and puch just fro narrow my options and be creative using the same things all again.
For my first layout, I made a double page about my nephew. If you want to see the video, on Portuguese, you can see my creation process. Here is how it turns.
For my kit I choose:
- 5 papers - 4 of them 12x12 and two used. (Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Pink Paislee);
- word stickers - October Afternoon;
- Miscellany . mix of die-cuts, chipboard and ribbon from October Afternoon;
- 3 letters stickers (I usually take 2, but one of them is so used - and look so nice with the kit that I choose a third one);
- Paper whimsies (Sassafras);
- Buttons;
- 2 tags;
- banners Chipboard (Maya Road);
- 2 pockets (K&Company).
I can use: cardstock, vellum, ink, embossing powder; sewing; pens; some stamps I choose; some punches I choose; some wood venners; a washi tape I choose.
I forget to take a picture of the kit, so I have just on video. If you want to see is really on the beginning.
Here the first detail of my layout:
That one it turns so simple. I just have to simplifY when it is a double page. I limit myself to papers and pictures most of time, and many pictures, of course.
I intend to use this kit in my next layouts, I want to do more, at least, 4 layouts. Here is one more detail of my layout:

Hello bloggers! Today I show how to save on your scrapbooking page using school or office supplies. I want to add some neon trend on my layout. So, I take some clip, post it and markers I have home to made it.
I use my post it to made the tabs and the orange paper with chevron embossing with clear powder.
The circle with I love it, I made paint with the neon marker, after embossing it with black powder. For the star I paint with the marker as well and punch it. I use paint with markers also on my washi personalized tape, using tape paint. Also I use my regular marker to paint the wood venner arrows.
I love how my layout turn. So, I think with creativity you can make some nice work. See you on a next Wednesday!

Hello scrappers! Today I show some tip to not expending so much money on scrapbooking. Papers pad brings many different kind of paper for a good price. You can use on cards or layouts and it so easy to coordenating since the colors look nice. The pad is around 7 doláres and you can use many times. Here I spend about 0,90€ on papers. Plus, I use a metalic trend to do my today's layout.
This layout is about my niece and about she like the fair world so much. When I found this slide, I have to do a picture of it. The transformation from the slide to the picture, turns it so textured, but I like so much the result. I hope you like it.
Here is my layout:
I use the HeyDay collection by Studio Calico that brings 36 patterned paper, 3 of each patterned. I made a layering with that and use the metalic to just give a special touch.
Here some look from the balloons I made. I just draw a oval circle on the back of the paper and cut around.

Yesterday I showed some great inspiring picture with the ombre trend. I made a layout using this trend, but with a economic tip. I made my base for the pictures with my scraps. I take all my scraps on orange, coral and pink and made some nice ombre layout about my best friend niece. Here is my project:
Most of the embelishment on this page is made by paper and stamps, but did not look empty.
I was inspiring by social networking to do this tag with some testemony from her friend. More journaling is under the picture. Here is a look!

Scrapbooking pode ser caro, mas também pode ser económico. A partir de hoje, e toda vez que me der vontade aqui nas quartas-feiras, eu vou dar algumas dicas de como economizar nas suas páginas. Hoje, eu começo com uma dica preciosa nesta altura, aproveitar a época de saldos. Veja o quanto gastei e mais dicas no video aqui abaixo (em português).
Today I am introduction a new thing here, some tips to make a economic and wonderful page. Todau my tip (on a video on Portuguese) is to buy paper now when so many stores are on Sale to have space for the new stuff coming on Setember. So, on this layout, I manage to use three paper from Studio Calico collection Memoir and I spend something like 1 euro total. I made my embelishment (this flags and I stamp myself). Paper is a nice thing to use and you can do whatever you want (background, embelishment and letters). Here is it turns.
On my title I use cut the paper for the "hair" letter and stamp with the "Curly" one. If you find some word stamp on a good price, I said: go for it. Stamps is a cheap way to embelish a page and you can use over, and over and never get done with.
Buttons are a nice and cheap embelishment either. Here a good look of my personal flags that I stamp on it, using word stamp and stanzon.

Hello, bloggers! Today I show a layout about my sweet niece and her personality. I love this pictures of herm and I just want to use them all. Did you like it? I love how it turns. I use the Studio Calico's kit So Cal, and I use the stamp on the kit to make a tecnique, Stamping-Off. I made a video (on Portuguese) about it.
Here same nice touch about this layout using many My Mind's Eye collections.
I just find this space empty, so I know I need to put something. I cut this banner from Follow your Heart Sign of a MME collection and I made a label embellisment with it.
Eu estou sempre fazendo páginas sobre coisas diferentes e etapas diferentes da minhas vida. Depois as organizo num álbum conforme o assunto, não o momento que eu as faço. Por isso, meus álbuns tem páginas feitas há alguns anos, até outras feitas recentemente. Hoje vou mostrar um álbum onde inclui as minhas primeiras páginas de scrapbooking com outras mais recentes. É o meu álbum com meus primeiros cinco anos de casada. Eu espero que perdoe-me a qualidade da minha voz (parece que eu estou com muita fome, cheia de saliva). Ahghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
