scrapbook talking #3: not so much on the mood for journaling

Hello Scrappers! This week I note that my last layouts have no journaling yet on it. Probably I will write something down eventually. However, usually I write down what I wanted before to do the layout. What's the problem, i thought. What does change? No, the journaling still important to me, but I am in so much stress right now. 

Olá Scrappers! Esta semana eu notei que meus layouts estão sem journaling e fiquei pensando no motivo de não estar escrevendo nos meus layouts. Journaling é parte importante do meu processo como scrapper, mas a verdade é que no momento estou em stress.

Moving back to Brazil it not quite what I thought would be. I know I have to decide what to do, but it's not here and not now I am talking about it, it's not my intention. The journaling is for me a time of reflection, after sometime I can write about the person or the moment. So, now, I am in the middle of the hurricane, I feel I have to hold strongly on something aside to discuss it. For that reason, my layouts don't have journaling. I am enjoying the process, techniques, but not think so much about people because I am so confused right now and I really don't know what to say.

Voltar ao Brasil, não está sendo o que eu imaginava, mas não é sobre isso que pretendo falar neste post. O que eu quero é refletir sobre journaling. Para mim o momento de escrita é um momento de reflexão sobre o momento ou a pessoa, e o momento que você vive certamente influencia o que você escreve. Como estou sentindo no meio de uma tempestade o que me resta é tentar me proteger e não pensar muito no que escrever sobre ela, até porque pra mim, a escrita é este momento  de reflexão depois das agruras.

I have to say I am not complaining about, I just realize. It's my first step to be aware of a situation and scrapbooking, one more time, it's helping me. Not only to think about it specifically, but sometimes just not thinking at all, using my paints and cardstock and just playing with it, without worry if my memories are there. There is time your life change and scrapbooking will change too.

Então, neste momento, o scrapbooking está me ajudando neste processo não de guardar memórias, não ainda, mas de passar o tempo brincando com papel, tintas e tesoura sem me preocupar se as minhas memórias estarão sendo guardadas. Quando a tempestade passar, certamente falarei sobre ela.

scrapbook talking #1: fast scrapbooking

Olá scrappers! Esta semana eu vou começar com um bate-papo que envolve scrapbooking em momentos que não se tem muito tempo. Confesso este mês estou correndo contra o tempo para revisar tudo para uma prova que vou fazer. Correria total! Acontece que com isso eu acabo deixando o scrapbook que tanto me faz feliz de lado. Graças ao Scrap Our Stash eu fui obrigada a dedicar pelo menos três horas do meu mês em dois projetos, e adorei. Primeiramente porque eu aprendi a economizar tempo num layout e possibilita que eu espaireça sem ficar preocupada de ficar perdendo tempo. A minha estratégia é a seguinte:

1. O Scrap Our Stash é um blog de desafio, e claro, por causa disso eu começo pelos desafios. Por exemplo, para o último desafio que era usar diferentes papéis e enfeites de diferentes coleções, eu resolvi pegar todos os papéis azuis que tinha e como tinha que usar cortiça separei todas, e elas ficaram na minha "mesa" a espera. Num outro dia, entre uma leitura e outra, eu olhando pra ali, resolvi concentrar-me nestas cores: azul e creme.

2. No que que sentei para criar já tinha o sketch na mão, o que neste caso me facilitou. Depois foi escolher um papel principal (o de flores) e outros que combinassem as cores. A ideia era mesmo ficar com a primeira escolha que eu gostasse, sem pensar em mais nada.

3. O método eu já usava nos meus layouts normais, mas estou ficando melhor, mais rápida para escolher. O fato de ter o material durante a semana acaba dando ideias antes mesmo de começar.

Outro dia eu passo aqui com mais tempo para explicar a técnica com mais detalhes conforme eu vou tomando consciência dela. Ah! Antes de ir embora, esta semana eu venho com post no sábado, mais um desafio do Scrap Our Stash usando o mesmo método. Um beijo e até a próxima!

Hello scrappers ! This week I'll start with a chat that involves scrapbooking when I do not have much time . I confess this month I'm running out of time to study for a exam. Turns out it I end up leaving the scrapbook aside. Thanks to Scrap Our Stash I was required to devote at least three hours of my month in two designs , and I loved . First because I learned to save time I can spend without getting worried  because I can be fast. My strategy is:

1 . The Scrap Our Stash is a challenge blog , and of course , because of that I get the challenges . For example , for the final challenge was to use different papers and embellishments from different collections , I decided to take all the blue papers I had and all cork board embellishment I had and place them on my " desk ". Between my study, I looked at the papers, I decided to concentrate in these colors : blue and cream.


2. When I have time to create, I have the sketch already on hand, which in this case facilitated me. Then it was choosing  a paper to begin (the flower's one) and others that the matched colors. The idea was to even get the first pick which I liked, without thinking of anything else. 

3. The method I've used in my normal layouts, but I'm getting better, faster to choose. The fact that the material during the week just giving ideas before I even start. 

Some other day I spend here more time to explain the technique in more detail as I'm taking consciousness about. Before I go, on Saturday I will have a new Scrap Our Stash layout and I use the same method. Hope to see you! Bye!
